Originally from Brianza, a hilly area north of the Milan metropolitan area, I graduated in applied and environmental chemistry at the Chemistry Department of the University of Milan. I then moved to Switzerland, where, in 2018, I obtained a Ph.D. in environmental sciences from ETH Zurich. I conducted my studies in atmospheric sciences at the Paul Scherrer Institute and at CERN in Geneva as part of the CLOUD project. Currently, I am working on my SNSF-funded research project. I am affiliated with the University of California - Irvine and the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest Snow and Landscape Research WSL. Previously, I worked and continue collaborating with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.
